I started learning Spanish in 1994 and in 1998 I did a 3 month language course in Malaga. During that time I realized there was nothing to stop me following my dream and moving to Spain. During that time I was also introduced to a very good English speaking lawyer so when I bought my property here she did the conveyencing. 2 Years later I met an English couple, Colin and Susan who were looking for a property to buy. They were at the end of their tether having been shown many properties that didn´t fit their requirements. They told me what they were looking for and I happened to know of one which I thought would be perfect for them. They did too because they bought it and I negotiated the price with the vendor and translated for them. I also recommeded Macarena, the same lawyer I used and they were very satisfied both with her services and the help I gave them. I was very lucky when I bought my property as I had made Spanish friends who pointed me in the right direction. I enjoyed doing the same for Colin and Susan. Just after that I met my husband who is Spanish and we decided to start this business together. We are very conscious of the fact that there are a lot of “cowboys” selling properties and turning peoples dreams into nightmares. For this reason we work professionally, offering a very good, before, during and after sales service. It is very important to have a good lawyer and apart from Macarena we recommend another lawyer depending on where the property is situated. We will also give advice on mortgages and help with N.I.E, bank account and recommend builders and tradesmen.
